Automatic Laundry Services Co., Inc. and its affiliated entities (“Automatic Laundry,” “we,” “us” or “our”) recognizes the importance of maintaining the privacy of personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how Automatic Laundry processes the personal data that we collect in online and offline formats through the provision of our laundry equipment and related services to clients and prospects, the web site and mobile applications owned and controlled by us, and our marketing and business development activities (collectively, “Services”). “Personal data” means data that reasonably can be used to identify a living person, or that reasonably relates to a living person. Data by which an individual cannot be identified, such as anonymous or aggregate data, is not considered personal data and is therefore not subject to this Policy. Data about entities is also not considered personal data. This Privacy Policy covers the personal data that we collect through the provision of our Services.  We may update this Policy by posting an updated version on our web site. You consent to the revised Policy by using our Services or providing us with personal data after we have posted an updated Privacy Policy, or notified you by other means.

PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

We collect and process the following types of personal data through the provision of the Services: information you provide to us online, and information we collect from you in other manners, including, for example, when you seek the provision of our laundry equipment and related services. Our web site is not designed or intended to apply to or attract children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly solicit or collect information from any person under the age of 16. We request that these individuals do not provide us any personal data. Online Information We collect your personal data when you provide it to us during your interactions through our web site, such as when you complete any “contact us” and registration forms or send us emails about matters, inquiries, or job opportunities. The personal data we collect and maintain includes contact information, such as name, title, company affiliation, e-mail address, postal address, country, and telephone number(s). We may retain records of your receipt of Services. We may collect student identification information. We retain records of support chat transcripts to 2 improve our products and services. Such records may remove identifying information in which case they will not constitute personal data. Cookies and Google Analytics. We do not employ cookies or other tracking technologies on our web site. Nor do we collect any information from you by automated means when you visit our web site. However, our web site employs Google Analytics, a web analytics tool provided by Google, Inc. that helps web site owners understand how visitors engage with their web sites. We can view a variety of reports about how visitors interact with our web site so we can improve it. Google Analytics collects information anonymously. Google uses cookies, and IP addresses, and it reports website trends without identifying individual visitors. In the event a visitor to the web site voluntarily submits contact information to Google, Google may then associate such information with the applicable IP address to enable us to see that visitor’s specific interactions with our web site. The information we obtain is in the aggregate, and includes such items as language/location, browser/operating system, and device type. You can opt-out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-On. Do Not Track. Do Not Track is an optional browser setting that allows you to express your preferences regarding tracking by advertisers and other third parties. We do not respond to such signals. Information Collected from Prospects, Clients, Vendors and Others We may receive information from or on behalf of our clients and potential clients, business partners, vendors and others to help us operate our business and provide Services. We may receive information about you in connection with our rendering of Services, such as when we conduct a site visit. We use information we collect in providing Services to our clients, as well as for marketing, recruiting, networking, educational purposes, employment purposes (if you apply for a job with us), and for our business operations. Our payment processor(s) collect financial information necessary to process your payments, although we do not maintain payment card information on our servers. We record support calls with your consent for training purposes and to improve our Services. We process personal data of vendors and business partners, including name and contact details, so that we can communicate about the services with the vendors and to otherwise maintain the relationship. For individual vendors and business partners, we also may hold financial information in order to pay invoices.

HOW INFORMATION IS USED

We may use and process personal data for the following reasons:

Our use of information enables us to improve our products and services and furthers our legitimate interests in building our business and client relationships, which are not outweighed by the interest or fundamental rights and freedoms of the individuals at issue. Consistent with our legitimate interests and any choices that we offer or consents that may be required under applicable laws, we may use technical information and personal information for our marketing purposes. Our use and disclosure of information may also be in connection with the defense or establishment of legal claims, or for the public interest. We also may need to collect and use your personal information to enter into a contract with you and/or to perform a contract that you have with us.

HOW PERSONAL DATA MAY BE SHARED

Automatic Laundry does not sell your personal data. We may share your personal data with our business partners to perform certain services on our behalf. Such third party service providers are not authorized by us to use your personal data for any other purposes. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of all or a portion of our assets, or other transaction, your personal data and other information may be shared with counterparties and their advisors in the transaction and transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of the transaction. If required to do so by law, or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary, we may share your personal data to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend our rights or property, (iii) prevent fraud, (iv) act to protect the safety of others, or (v) protect against liability. We employ reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards designed to protect the security of personal data that we collect. These safeguards vary depending upon a variety of factors including the sensitivity of the information. Despite all reasonable practices, no security method is infallible. We cannot guarantee the security of the networks, systems, servers, devices, and databases we operate, that are operated on our behalf, or which you employ to access our web site and our other Services. Nor can we guarantee the security of third party networks, including cellular networks and storage servers, used in connection with our web site and our other Services. Rights of California Residents.  In order to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and other California privacy laws, the terms in this section supplement, with respect to California residents, those elsewhere in this Policy. Terms used in this section shall have the same meaning as in the CCPA. California residents can request a list of all the third parties to which we have disclosed certain personal information (as defined by California’s Shine the Light law) during the preceding year for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information from natural persons for the purposes of rendering laundry equipment services, rendering our business operations, educational, and/or employment purposes: identifiers; information subject to Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e) for California residents, to the extent applicable; protected classifications characteristics under California or U.S. law; internet or other electronic network activity information; employment-related information; inferences drawn about you from other personal information that relate to, describe or are reasonably capable of being associated with you. We may also use or share de-identified information that is not reasonably likely to identify you, and thus is not personal information, for commercially legitimate business purposes. Under the CCPA, you cannot be discriminated against for exercising your rights to access or request erasure of personal data.

DATA STORAGE, PROCESSING AND TRANSFER

Our web site and our other Services are operated in the United States of America in accordance with U.S. law. If you are located outside of the U.S., please be aware that information we collect will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. By using our web site, or providing us with any information, you affirmatively consent to this transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the U.S., and acknowledge that U.S. privacy laws may not be as comprehensive as those in the country where you reside and/or are a citizen.
