Step 1: Detergent and Bleach

The first step in the process of doing laundry in a coin operated top load washing machine is to add your measured out soap.  If you are using bleach it should only be added when the machine is already full of water at the start of the cycle.

Step 2: Sort Clothes & Load Machine

Clothes should be sorted by color and type of clothing. For instance, you wouldn’t want to wash heavy-duty blue jeans with delicate undergarments. Sort things out by what type of clothing they are first, then start sorting by color. The simplest way to sort colors is to make a pile for whites, a pile for brights, and a pile for dark clothing. You’re now ready to load the machine, make sure to not overload it.

Step 3: Insert Coins

Add the appropriate amount of coins to the coin slot or coin slide and push it all the way in and then pull it out again. Make sure that you don’t use damaged coins as they may get lodged in the slot rendering the coin operated laundry machine out of order.

Step 4: Adjust Settings & Start

Select your desired fabric and temperature settings before you start the machine. This will ensure that your clothes are washed properly without fading colors or damaging delicate items. Make sure the lid is closed and start the machine. If the lid is not properly closed the machine will not start.

Step 1: Clean the Lint Filter

Check the Dryer Lint Filter to make sure that it is clean and free of obstructions. If the filter isn’t clear airflow will be restricted and moisture will become trapped in the dryer, your clothes will take much longer to dry as a result.

Step 2: Add Clothes to Dryer

Load the dryer with your wet clothes. It is very important that you don’t overload the dryer. If you add too many articles of clothing it will take much longer to dry. Wet clothes are very heavy and too much at once will cause the dryer to become unbalanced. Loading the proper amount of clothes will ensure fast uninterrupted drying.

Step 4: Adjust Settings & Start

Select your desired temperature and duration settings before you start the machine. This will ensure that your clothes are dried properly and without any damage to delicate items. Make sure the door is closed securely and start the dryer. If the door isn’t closed all the way the dryer will not start or may pop open during operation.
